In the design of the chair Bo by Driade store, Philippe Starck starts from the canonical rules for stacking chairs as closer front legs, rear legs positioned externally to edge of the seat, but immediately changes them into an expedient measure to characterize the project. Bo takes, in fact, a special shot, taking advantage of its’ enlargement at the point where the seat becomes backrest. Analyzing “Bo” we then forget its stackability even if, when necessary, it succeeds without any “formal effort “.
